NuPath’s leadership team includes executives from healthcare, finance and investment banking, with hands-on experience in the aggregation of dental practices across Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the USA.
Sean Cortis, Chief Executive Officer
Strategic Leadership and founding roles in Healthcare across Australia, Asia and the USA. As a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand and a Chartered Tax Advisor, Sean has served in a multiple of CFO and corporate advisory roles ranging from professional services to healthcare. Sean serves in board and advisory roles to a diverse range of businesses globally. Sean is a founding director of Miskawaan Health Group which operates medical clinics across Europe and Asia and founded and served as CEO of United Dental Corporation, a Dental Partnership Organisation partnering with leading dentists in the USA.
James Tucker, Chief Operating Officer
James has had a successful, entrepreneurial business career spanning 30 years, including co-founding, operating and exiting a leading online real estate software solutions company that was sold to News Corporation’s Realestate.com.au. James has co-founded numerous companies across industries including residential and commercial real estate, agriculture, aged-care technology and most recently using proprietary legal technology to bring efficiencies to the estate planning sector. With a bachelor’s degree in accounting and initial training in audit, James’ strengths are in managing a company’s financing, equity and corporate related activities. Through his career, James has been involved in raising in excess of $150m in equity and debt to fund his co-founded companies’ strategic objectives.
Eric Kamal, Senior Analyst
Eric is a CFA charterholder and a qualified accountant. Eric has extensive background in investment analysis, financial modelling, asset valuation and due diligence, corporate insolvency & restructuring. Eric leads NuPath’s financial modeling, due diligence processes and investment reviews of potential and existing deals. Working alongside Sean, Eric previously served as Senior M&A Analyst at United Dental Corporation.
Sonja Brock, Partnership Liaison Manager
Sonja Is a therapeutically endorsed optometrist with extensive knowledge in the health care sector and practice management having owned and operated an Optometric practice in Syndney CBD for over 14 years. Sonja served in the role of Partnership Liaison Manager and strategic operations for the United Dental Corporation as it partnered with dentists in the USA. Other roles include projects in research and development in health care.
